Thank You Cards 101

Ugh. Thank you cards, a daunting task...but a necessary task.

Your wedding day has come and gone and you and your spouse are enjoying married life... Which may include your fun new wedding gifts! Don't forget to get those thank you cards out sooner rather than later!

Wedding Card Etiquette

• Most people suggest sending your thank you cards no later than 2-3 months after the wedding. Of course, the sooner the better.

• If you receive a gift before the wedding happens, feel free to send a thank you card right away. That way, it is out of the way and then you know you won't forget later. Plus, then you won't have as many to write after the wedding!

• You don't need to send a card to everyone that attends. One card per household is totally fine.

• If you notice that someone attended and didn't give a gift, still send them a thank you note for attending the wedding.

• Hand written is always better, even if you have terrible hand writing *cough cough* Boys you can't escape this.
