Gorgeous Fall Wedding in White Bear Lake, MN
Logan and Nicole went on a trip to Banff National Park in Canada in July of 2019. The two planned to get up early for a beautiful hike through the area, but it ended up raining the morning of. They decided to power through anyhow, even though Nicole wasn't entirely on board with the cold rain and it being super early! To her surprise, Logan had a plan for their engagement... he had even hired a secret photographer to capture the moment!
The two arrived at Lake Louise with their rain jackets and umbrellas in tow, where Logan popped the question! The moment was all the more special because of the lack of other tourists (thanks rain!) so they were almost entirely alone surrounded by the amazing scenery to share this special moment in their lives.
Nicole and Logan planned their wedding day to be full of laughter and focus on the many sentimental memories from their relationship. They achieved this in several ways, incorporating important family members throughout the day.
Logan's mother passed away a few years prior to their wedding... So to honor her, they had a sign made in her memory and reserved a seat in her honor at the ceremony. Nicole also chose to surprise Logan by walking down the aisle to his mother's favorite song, Landslide. *Cue the waterworks*
Both Nicole's uncle and God Father stepped in to play an important role by sharing the place of an officiant. Neither had ever officiated a wedding before, but Nicole and Logan loved that people who knew them so well were able to be the ones to marry them.
Finally, Nicole's step father build their arbor and it turned out absolutely beautiful.
