Why these awards are special:
Every vendor that was nominated for these awards was nominated by past, recent couples who used their services. It didn't matter if these vendors have the biggest following, or the most committed friends and family, or if they even had any connection to us at all. These awards were given by real couples to those who truly went above and beyond to make each couples' day amazing.
Best Alterations: Custom Sewing by Heather
Heather has been sewing for over 30 years and works primarily on bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride gowns. She is based out of Woodbury, MN and works closely with bridal shops in Woodbury.
Best Boudoir: Katina Elizabeth Photography
Katina is a luxe portrait photographer as well as makeup artist based in the Twin Cities. She strives to help you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin by giving you pose direction and using angles and lighting to best show you! This is her second year in a row winning Best of Sota Brides for boudoir!
Best Bridal Attire: The Wedding Shoppe
The Wedding Shoppe has been helping brides find their dream dresses for over 40 years! They are located in St. Paul, MN and offer bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and bridal accessories. This is their second year in a row winning Best of Sota Brides!
Best Caterer: Brasa Catering
Brasa offers full service catering serving groups of 12-500 people, offering premium rotisserie chicken as well as delicious sides. They have 3 locations around the Twin Cities and are a preferred caterer at many popular wedding venues.
Best Dessert: Glam Doll Donuts
Glam Doll Donuts is located in Minneapolis, MN. They create their dough, fillings and icings from scratch daily and love creating fun and unique flavors. They also offer vegan options!
Best DJ: Instant Request DJ Entertainment
Instant Request is a collection of DJ's based out of the Twin Cities. They provide their couples with a planning software to help them select the perfect music for their entire wedding day. Their couples are then paired with a DJ that will fit their unique style and taste!
Best Florist: 651 Studio & Floral Design
Candace is a floral designer based out of Red Wing, MN. Discovering her passion for floral later in life, after relocating for her husbands job, she has been creating beautiful floral arrangements for couples for over 3 years! This is her second year in a row winning Best of Sota Brides!
Best Jeweler: Wedding Day Diamonds
Wedding Day Diamonds has been providing quality rings to couples in MN for over 40 years! They offer a large selection of eco lab created diamonds as well as traditionally mined diamonds. They offer an easy to use warranty on their rings as well as customization and trade-ins.
Best Menswear: Milbern Clothing
Milbern Clothing has been serving the Twin Cities area for over 50 years! They offer menswear for purchase or for rent and strive to provide quality clothing at value prices. This is their second time winning Best of Sota Brides!
Best Officiant: Unbreakable Vow Weddings
Unbreakable Vow Weddings serves couples in the Midwest. They are able to help provide assistance writing vows, ceremony scripts, and selecting readings. They also work with couples planning elopements and vow renewals.
Best Photography: Studio Twelve: 52
Kasey and Tyler are a husband and wife duo based out of Minneapolis, MN who have been providing wedding photography for over 10 years! They are dog lovers who are happy to include your furry friends in your wedding or engagement photos. This is their second year in a row winning Best of Sota Brides!
Best Planning/Coordination: Dos Goats Plans
Christina and Adam are the minds behind Dos Goats Plans and have been coordinating and planning weddings since 2018. They are based out of Minneapolis, MN and vibe with quirky couples. These two are also in the process of planning their own wedding & have recently opened their own event space, The Sinclair on Grand.
Best Rental/Decor: Girl Friday Creative
Based out of Minneapolis, Carly started Girl Creative in 2012. She and her talented team have created over 1,000 one-of-a-kind art installations.
Best Venue: Rush Creek Golf Club
Rush Creek Golf Club is located in Minneapolis, MN with a beautiful space overlooking the course. They have spaces for up to 325 guests and provide their own catering with a variety of options for couples to choose from.
Best Videography: Precious Film Co.
Precious Film Co is a videography company based out of Bowlus, MN. Taylor has been capturing wedding videos since 2020 and believes that all couples should have the opportunity to have a beautiful wedding video on a budget.
Best Wedding Hair: Plush Beauty Lounge
Plush Beauty Lounge offers both hair and makeup services either on site or at their salon located in St. Paul, MN. Angela, the owner has been doing hair and makeup since 2008 and employs a team of artists to help cater to bridal parties of all sizes. This is also Plus Beauty Lounge's second time winning Best of Sota Brides in both hair and makeup!
